Tuition Discount and Assistance Information

2024-2025 School year

Sibling Discount: A 5% discount will be applied to the base tuition of students who are the 2nd + child of a family and enrolled in Kindergarten – 8th grade.


Refer a Family: Current families will receive a $255 tuition credit for each full-time family you refer to First Immanuel Lutheran School. The tuition credit will appear on the referring family’s FACTS account during the 2nd semester of the referred family’s first year of enrollment. If the referring family’s last child has graduated they will be sent a check.


RaiseRight (formally called SCRIP): SCRIP is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase SCRIP, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. There are many stores that participate in the program. When you purchase these gift cards your school account will be credited with 85% of the revenue received from the purchase.

  • How do I get started? - You will need to fill out a SCRIP Program agreement form, which can be found in your Family Portal under Resource Documents" or you can access it here: SCRIP_Agreement.pdf  

Tuition Assistance:

  • FIL Studentship Award - This need-based financial aid program is open to all school families. The program is graciously funded by First Immanuel’s Guardian Angel program. The goal of First Immanuel’s Guardian Angel program is for every family that wants their child(ren) to attend FIL School be able to do so regardless of their financial situation. The application for the FIL Studentship Award is found in your Family Portal under the Financial Tab.
  • Choice Programs – This need-based program is open to new FILS families entering a 4K program (5 days/week) - 8th grade and returning families with students entering a 4K program (5 days/week) Kindergarten or 1st grade. The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program is open to families who live in Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Parental Choice Program is open to families who live in Milwaukee.
